Their groundbreaking concept involves a precision laser mounted on a robotic arm, designed to send a controlled energy beam to a satellite\u2019s solar panel. This energy overload forces the satellite to discharge its battery, triggering a software reboot that reactivates the solar panels and resumes recharging the battery. This technique, inspired by the familiar act of rebooting electronics, offers a novel solution for resolving software malfunctions in orbit, giving satellites a second chance at life.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n
